Now in Ellington's case, at least he could have seen that the prisoner should have been able to pull up the Staff of Truth by himself. One could say that she should have known something was going on when he couldn't kick the door down, but he could have been tied up or something for all she knew. Keep in mind though, due to the simple nature of the zone and how close these nodes are, you're liable to have competition.Here's another one that could use a sequel, 'Housekeeper goes on lifelong search. While this zone has the ore bunched closer together, I wasn't able to get as much Cobalt as I would've liked. However, that doesn't mean the zone doesn't offer ore in various clusters. You can be flying from one are to the next without any ore in sight. But one of its flaws (the zone, not the music), are the mountains. I love the background music in this zone while I'm farming. On top of that, some ore will be at the bottom of the sea, which is a good distance to dive. The downside to this zone is the fact that the ore is so spread out from one another.

Similarly, both Dragonblight and Grizzly Hills have wide areas that you'll need to fly over (on any routing) that just don't have veins. (I just made 3 more runs, I got 316 ore this time, so the amount is consistant, I was there at around 4pm servertime, weekday.) So to sum up, I don't think it's that bad really, it's not thorium ore in Ungoro but it's not bad. I didn't miss even one node on this map (except underwater nodes), it took about 35-40 minutes to do 3 clean sweeps in the time I also killed 3 rares which was nice :D (I farmed at about 10am servertime weekday) I also googled quick 'Mining 1-525 guide' this gave me a quick map of the Howling Fjord. I used this instead of Gatherer because gatherer doesn't by default come with a database and the one they do supply is way way out of date. I used this addon to help me - GatherMate2 & the GatherMate2 database both downloaded from Curse.
